Learn about Ohio's PACE authority and how property owners can finance energy improvements to benefit their properties by requesting a special assessment from a municipality or township. The property owner can finance energy efficiency updates such as solar thermal systems, geothermal, wind, biomass, gasification and energy efficiency technologies that reduce energy consumption or support the production of clean, renewable energy. David Leff, Worthington Industries' Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Manager will discuss these special financing districts. Other topics include solar field developments and wind tower technologies in the face of diminshing federal incentives. Bill Watson, Project Manager of Worthington Industries' Energy Business Unit, will talk about the U.S. landscape of alternative energy markets.
