Our application is in for the Solar Tour. Fingers crossed. Everyone is welcome to come to the mill and see what we're doing there. In addition to the hydro power system we are installing, it's truly a unique place.

Attended a meeting recently at Bear's Mill in Greenville, Ohio. This restored mill has a water wheel driving a grist mill. Several volunteers are trying to 2 water turbines to generate electricity. The electricity generated will fill all the needs of the mill. Excess electricity will be metered back to the utility company.
They hope to have this completed for the 2010 solar tour.
