(North Canton, OH – May17, 2011) – Science and technology teachers can learn more about sustainable energy and earn 2.5 professional development CEUs at a three-day workshop August 2nd, 3rd, & 4th at Stark State College. The sessions will be held from 8-5pm with overnight accommodations provided.
Participants will learn how to integrate sustainable energy into curriculum and meet Ohio science curriculum standards; receive and develop sustainable energy lab materials for immediate classroom use; and participate in hands-on activities with experts in sustainable energy fields such as hydrogen fuel cells, wind, solar and bio-fuels.
Seats are limited and available on a first-come basis. To register by the

The $250 registration fee covers: 2 nights hotel accommodations w/continental breakfast, lunch 2 days, dinner 1 day, and all instruction materials: Reference Manual with sample lesson plans & activities, thumb drive with electronic copies of all materials, Horizon Renewable Energy Education Kit, and Horizon Renewable Energy Monitor.
